If what I am is what’s in me
Then I’ll stay strong – that’s who I’ll be
And I will always be the best me that I can be

A couple of summers ago, my kids, my teenagers, found a miniature Cookie Monster at a flea market.
The patron saint of our family, Cookie’s physical presence reminds us of all the reasons we love the Muppets.
They are funny. Passionate. Curious. Energetic. Hungry. Silly. Playful. Kind. Grouchy. Even Nudge-y.
They ask questions. Look for meaning, For clarity. Making the world bigger and smaller all at the same time.
They are not perfect or even trying to be. They are making their way in the world honestly. As a community.
They make us laugh. They make us look more closely at ourselves and think about the people we want to be.
